Local Derbyshire Children and Young People's Partnership Group

The groups were, until recently, known as Local Implementation Groups (LIGs)

 

The groups are made up of managers representing key agencies who provide services to children and families in their district

 

The groups report to the Children and Young People's Trust and undertake the following work

 

  • Promoting better inter-agency working in their district
  • Auditing local need
  • Making recommendations about improving service provision
  • Monitoring local implementation of the Children and Young People's plan

    • There are many changes occurring in services for children and young people through the evolving Derbyshire Children's Trust, Amber Valley CVS will continue to be involved in the above meeting to ensure voluntary sector activity is recognised
